SOLUTION 1. Unzip the "RH3Gver104.zip" file attached to this document and burn the seven files in the root folder of a CD-R. 2. Upgrade the firmware to version 1.04 as explained below. • Press [EJECT] and place the update disc on the tray. • Close the tray and wait until the LOAD is done. A time indication will appear on the front panel display and a firmware update window will be displayed on the monitor screen. • Select "Yes" by pushing [ENTER] on the remote control. • After about 10 s, "Verup start" will appear on the front panel display and the update procedure will start. The total update takes around 10 min. to complete. • When the update is completed, "Finish!!" will appear on the front panel display and the disc will be ejected automatically. CAUSE DVD drive firmware issue. SOLUTION 1. Unzip the "RH3Gdrv29.zip" file attached to this document and burn the three files in the root folder of a CD-R. 2. Upgrade the DVD drive firmware to version 2.9 as explained below. • Press [EJECT] and place the update disc on the tray. • Close the tray and wait until the LOAD is done. A time indication will appear on the front panel display and a firmware update window will be displayed on the monitor screen. • Select "Yes" by pushing [ENTER] on the remote control. • After about 30 s, "Verup start" will appear on the front panel display and the update procedure will start. Preparation • Connect the unit to a TV by means of the RCA cable. • Plug the power cords of the unit and the TV into wall outlets and wait for a while. Updating the Loader Software • Unzip the attachment "VX410LOADLB25.ZIP" and burn the "LB25.BIN" file to the root folder of a CD-R. • Select ISO 9660 Format, Disc at Once, Finalized. Do not activate the MultiSession Disc option! • Enter the label "TSST" as the disc's name. • Press the [OPEN/CLOSE] button on the front panel, insert the upgrade CD-R, and close the tray. • The upgrade starts automatically and lasts about one minute. During this time, the message "INF WRITE" is blinking on the display. Caution, neither tap on the unit nor turn the unit off until the tray opens automatically! • When the upgrade finishes, the tray opens automatically. If you lose the chance of removing the CD-R, simply let the upgrade continue until the end.
