The message "Disc Error" may appear when inserting a DVD+RW disc of which all the contents have been copied. CAUSE DVD drive firmware issue. SOLUTION 1. Unzip the "GXHX3Gdrv29.zip" file attached to this document and burn the three files in the root folder of a CD-R. 2. Upgrade the DVD drive firmware to version 2.9 as explained below. Press [EJECT] and place the update disc on the tray. Close the tray and wait until the LOAD is done. A time indication will appear on the front panel display and a firmware update window will be displayed on the monitor screen. Select "Yes" by pushing [ENTER] on the remote control. After about 30 s, "Verup start" will appear on the front panel display and the update procedure will start. The total update takes around 2 min. to complete. When the update is completed, "Finish!!" will appear on the front panel display and the disc will be ejected automatically. Remove the disc from the tray.
